How’s your training going? Your Dad and I skipped today, due to blizzard and a sleepless night. Salome’s airplane got in LATE last night (2:15 AM), so that involved a middle of the night trip to the airport in the blizzard. Then at 4AM, just as we were drifting off to sleep again, the Johnston police were pounding at the door. Salome’s car, which had been parked on the side of the house since before Christmas, and which was TOTALLY snowed in, had to be moved for the pending snow-plow, or else it was going to be towed and impounded. Unfortunately, we knew the battery was dead too. SOOOO, after lots of shoveling and a jump start, her car got to the driveway. At least we got to sleep from 5:10-6:00AM when the alarm went off! We had a nice supper with Salome tonight, and she says hello to you and all the rest of you kids
So how come the rose you gave Jess won’t die? Its as nice as the day you gave it to her.
